A Course Designed for the Best

The Mexico Open Qualifier will be played at VidantaWorld Golf Puerto Peñasco, a masterpiece of contemporary design that pairs the grandeur of the Sonoran desert with views of the Sea of Cortez. Conceived by Jack Nicklaus Design under the Legacy philosophy, which places Vidanta's golf courses among the finest in Latin America, the course is a demanding test for any world-class player.

Beyond the course, the destination offers the luxury hospitality that defines Grupo Vidanta: signature dining, first-class accommodations, and an unrivaled natural setting.

Competition Format

The tournament will be played over 54 holes of stroke play, a format designed to reward consistency, performance under pressure, and technical excellence. Mexican amateur and professional golfers, including college players, are eligible to compete with a handicap index of 2.0 or lower.
